Zamfara is in the news again. In the early hours of June 4, 2026, gunmen attacked student housing near Federal Polytechnic Kaura Namoda and abducted 7 students. One student managed to escape.
This is the latest in a series of campus kidnappings threatening tertiary education in the Northwest.
